THERE will be several activities today to mark the World Athletics Day. Track and field action and a tree planting activities top the day’s programme.
The Uganda Amatuer Athletics Federation’s (UAAF) Vice Chairman, Peter Okot-Omony told Saturday Vision yesterday that everything was set for the competitions at different age brackets of participants.
He said the potential qualifiers from the competition will be short listed for the forthcoming Senior African Athletics championship slated for July 27- August 2 in Nairobi, Kenya.
