Museveni to open Zone Two mini league

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni is expected to officially open the Zone Two mini-league tournament today during his visit to Budaka district.

Zonal chairman Sam Lwere said his committee had already communicated to the Resident District Commissioner Godfrey Kyeyune, requesting that the President addresses the over 300 youths taking part in the tournament. A total of 20 clubs from eight districts in the region are involved in the action.

President Museveni is expected to tour various government development projects and address rallies in the district.

Regular campaigners Namadu FC, former premier league side Game Boys, Rock Tigers, Matoda, and Lyama FC have already secured quarter final slots in the two-week tournament going on at Budaka playground.
