FOCUS shifts to the drop zone this evening as the 2009-10 Uganda Super League gets to its final kick.
While Arua Central, Hoima, Iganga and Maji have gone down, there is still a stiff battle to determine the fifth relegation candidate.
It’s a survival contest between CRO, Victors, Boroboro and Kinyara where none of them can afford to slip.
The Kinyara versus CRO encounter in Masindi promises fireworks. It will be a similar story in the Victors/ Boroboro tie.
The league will today be punctuated by a Kakungulu Cup second leg semi-final between Simba and Police at Bombo.
Simba coach Fred Kajoba is switching striker Robert Omunik to defence.
The Cops are carrying with them a 1-0 advantage from the first leg.
Kajoba said he has put Omunik in defence, not only as a cover for injured David Walusimbi, but also to help initiate moves that will overhaul Police’s advantage.
