LAST Friday night, Luck Lucy Apiyo, a 20-year-old student in her Senior Six vacation from Gulu, was announced winner of the Miss Karuma Falls beauty pageant.
LAST Friday night, Luck Lucy Apiyo, a 20-year-old student in her Senior Six vacation from Gulu, was announced winner of the Miss Karuma Falls beauty pageant.
This was at 4:00am at Acholi Inn Hotel in Gulu town. Angel Harriet Aloyo, 20, and Joan Adong, 19, both students, came second and third respectively. Apio won a mobile phone.
Seven contestants took part in the pageant. The contest was the final leg of a regional pageant that went to Soroti, Lira, Kitgum and Gulu. Roger Okwany captured the action in pictures.
