Blick rages on in MX championship

ARTHUR Blick beat traditional rival Asaf Naten in all the three hits to win the sixth round of the MX 1 motor cross championship at Garuga on Sunday.

ARTHUR Blick beat traditional rival Asaf Naten in all the three hits to win the sixth round of the MX 1 motor cross championship at Garuga on Sunday.
Blick scored 75 points to tally 423 points and maintain top spot just 25points ahead of second placed Naten( 398).
“Stretching the lead from nine points to 25 is good for me and am determined to win this championship again,†an excited Blick stated.
Two rounds remain on the national calendar to determine this year’s champion.
Meanwhile in the rally sprint Duncan Mubiru posted a time of 3:06:87 minutes to beat NRC table leader Nasser Mutebi in the Nash rally sprint held at the same venue.
Mutebi posted 3:12:87 to emerge second while Wycliffe Bukenya and Omaru Mayanja finished third and fourth respectively ahead of former Motor cross star Unisan Bakunda who finished fifth.
