A change of dates for Africa’s World Cup qualifiers made yesterday should give Uganda’s team time to step up their dismal preparations. The event originally set for September 1-7 in Johannesburg, will be held at a later date.
A change of dates for Africa’s World Cup qualifiers made yesterday should give Uganda’s team time to step up their dismal preparations. The event originally set for September 1-7 in Johannesburg, will be held at a later date.
World netball body INF made the change and promised to set new dates soon. The change followed an appeal by Uganda, Tanzania, Cameron and Zanzibar citing inadequate preparation period.
Before the change, Uganda’s preparations were largely wanting.
