I am anxiously waiting to see who Uganda’s next President will be. I am looking forward to a candidate who can explain how they are going to deal with the following:

  • Promote a single national vision shared with all Ugandans.

  • Healthcare for all at affordable prices through a well thoughtout healthcare scheme/fund.

  • Promote Uganda from the current low to a medium income country.

  • Promote nationalism in Uganda rather citizenship

  • Transform Uganda from a consumption to a production and savings driven economy.

  • Deal with the high level of unemployment

  • Willing to provide stimulus packages to small and medium enterprises that are employing various Ugandans without direct Government support.

  • Promote a healthy Uganda and not a centre of disease control.

  • Education and not access to schools through improvement to the existing UPE, USE and promote vocational training and new concepts such as sports academies which will absorb a number of youths,

  • Retirement and pension benefits and not condemnation of the elderly

  • Infrastructure development,

  • Infrastructure development for health, education, production and improving the existing ones

  • Poverty reduction schemes that empower rural folk and not programmes to enrich MPs plus and a few Government officials

  • Stick to issues during the campaigns rather than diversionary tricks

  • Resolve the cultural leaders issue once and for all

  • Rehabilitate Kampala city of Africa.
