JANE Chandiru’s impressive pistol shooting performance earned the UPDF sergeant a second career victory as best female shooter in the eighth edition of the Inter-Forces games.

She struck four of her six live bullets direct at the bull’s eye of the shooting board in 300m, 200m and 100m ranges to register a combined 55 points for UPDF.

The best shooter in respective ranges is determined on gross points collected after all the 10 events in the fire practice that involve lying position, squating, standing, fire and movement, moving target.

A marksman who hits the bull’s eye on target at most is likely to emerge winner. All points from every shooter in a team count towards the team position.
