KCC to close video halls

KAMPALA — Makindye division authorities have launched an operation to crack-down on illegal video halls popularly known as bibanda. So far seven wooden video hall structures have been demolished since Friday. The division’s defence secretary, Charles Kabugo, said video halls operated illegally because the district had not authorised them.
