WHO needs Andrew Mukasa when you have the ‘Real Madrid’ pair of Bana Zidane and Hassan ‘Figo’ Mubiru?
That is the question Express coach Leo Adraa has a ready answer for.
“Forget Mukasa. He has given me problems but now, I’m through with him. I will just focus on those who are dependable,” Adraa said after qualifying for the semifinals minus his temperamental marksman.
Mukasa, who disappeared from camp after scoring two goals against Rayon Sport in the group stages, failed to heed the club’s calls for him to re-appear and his whereabouts remain unknown.
Adraa appropriately mentioned Express’ 3-0 quarterfinal victory over Nzoia as evidence of the squad’s capability to perform without their specialist targetman.
“ The fact that we have performed without him means he isn’t that essential,” Adraa said.
The Express tactician, with a semifinal clash with old-rivals Villa in mind, however stated that if he re-appears and proves to be in good shape, he would be fielded.
Simba play Muzinga in the first semifinal today. Ends
