Tiger Brands range of food products were on Wednesday launched on the local market at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.

Tiger Brands range of food products were on Wednesday launched on the local market at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.
Tiger Brands, a South African based company is a subsidiary of Africa’s largest food company involved in the marketing and production of foods distributed all over the world.
The products unveiled during the launch presided over by Industry state minister Richard Nduhura include All Gold Culinary products, Fatti’s and Moni’s Pasta, Macaroni, Noodles and Spaghetti, Koo baked beans, processed foods and vegetables and the Tastic rice
In Uganda, the company will be trading through key distributors. The local distributor in Uganda will be the Lucky Friend stores.
The minister of trade and industry, Prof. Edward Rugumayo, in a speech read for him by Nduhura hailed the great trade relationships that have been continuously maintained between Uganda and South Africa over the years.
Tiger Food Brands CEO, Franklin Haydn, said his group, which was founded in 1908, has an annual turnover of $2.25 billion.
