STRONG and ferociously committed specialists Central Yellow, Nakawa Green, Rubaga Maroon and Central Blue sped into the shell U-16 tournament semi-finals due next weekend at Nakivubo stadium.

Nakawa Green were surely the last team Rubaga White wished to entertain as they lost 4-1 in a one sided game.

Yet Central Blue with presumably the best pool of talent were lucky winners over Kawempe Orange, whose majestic last gasp equaliser sent them into a shoot out won 4-2 by the latter.

Rubaga Maroon were 2-1 winners over Makindye whose inability to clear their lines cost them dear. Corners were won, crosses swept in, but Maroon protected their lead.

The tournament was open to any team within the FOF Zones of Jinja, Rubaga, Masaka, Makindye, Kawempe, Kampala and Nakawa.
