THE family of the missing UPDF Colonel, Edison Muzoora, has demanded for protection from government, citing frequent visits by unidentified gunmen to their home in Kyabugimbi, Bushenyi district.
Vasta Muzoora, the wife of the missing officer, said on phone yesterday she was worried about the safety of her husband following reports linking him to rebel activities.
Col. Muzoora, a former UPDF sector commander in Bunia in Congo, disappeared about three weeks ago. Military sources suspect he fled to Rwanda.
“We request government to give us security because of many armed people who visit our home. We don’t know what they are upto,†Vasta, a district councillor for Kyabugimbi, said.
