Migadde Favourite In Sharing Open

Jackson Migadde is the top contender at the Sharing table tennis Open that starts tomorrow. <br>The 23-year-old Migadde will also return to Nsambya’s Sharing Youth Centre where he learnt the game over five years ago.

Jackson Migadde is the top contender at the Sharing table tennis Open that starts tomorrow.
The 23-year-old Migadde will also return to Nsambya’s Sharing Youth Centre where he learnt the game over five years ago.
The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) event will end on Sunday.
The number two Migadde, is of 50 players who have so far registered for the competition.
Fourth ranked Edward Kiwanuka and Ketra Okwalinga, who also learnt the game at the the Nsambya centre, will be playing.
The centre run by the Catholic Church White Fathers, was set up to pull youths together through sports, prayer and charitable work. Other social venues held at the centre include conferences and weddings.
Migadde’s rivals for honours include veteran player George Yiga, youngsters Jude Mutete and Martin Olweny.
Okwalinga will face Chebet Chemisto, Rebecca Namubiru and Monica Kisakye.
Action will be in the men’s singles and doubles, the women’s singles, the men’s and women’s team events. The boy’s and girl’s singles events will also be held.
