Transport union soon

KAMPALA – The East Africa Transports Federation, an umbrella body set to unite taxi associations in the region, will be initiated by the end of this year. UTODA national boss John Ndyomugyenyi said the union is expected to unite the operations of the Matatu Association of Kenya, Taxi Association of Tanzania and UTODA. He said representatives of the three countries had been holding meetings since last year and agreed on the formation of the union.
