THE director general of health services, Prof. Francis Omaswa and health state minister Capt. Mike Mukula have disapproved work done on two theatres and doctors’ houses at Serere and Kisilo health centre IV.

Omaswa criticised the door shutters, taps and sinks saying they were not the right ones.

He ordered for immediate replacement and fitting of the surface door shutters, hand support taps and sinks with those ideal for theatre operation

Mukula was riled when the floor cracked after he used a stone to test whether the concrete was strong enough

He ordered for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the contractors, saying they had done shoddy work.

Mukula directed the Soroti district engineer, Henry Tiberondwa, to ensure that the contractors correct their work within 30 days.
