SIR — Nobody is happy that James Opoka is confirmed dead. but I am shocked and surprised that those who used to pretend that he had no contribution in making their reviews are now beginning to shed tears for their political ideologue.
SIR — Nobody is happy that James Opoka is confirmed dead. but I am shocked and surprised that those who used to pretend that he had no contribution in making their reviews are now beginning to shed tears for their political ideologue. Because Opoka was a Ugandan, we are sad that a son of northern Uganda has been killed in the most cruel way by a man he supported to deny the people in the north peace and human rights.
we should once again revise our methods of encouraging young people to join deadly rebel groups who have no mercy for their own side or for their opponents. The death of Opoka is blamed on the people who sent him there.
