Kobil Uganda on Saturday officially unveiled a new fueling station in Kabale, bringing the number of Kobil stations in the country to 45.

Kobil Uganda on Saturday officially unveiled a new fueling station in Kabale, bringing the number of Kobil stations in the country to 45.
The modern facility, the first Kobil station in Kabale, was opened by the Bank of Uganda governor, Tumusime Mutebile, at a colourful ceremony.
Francis Muhoozi, the Kobil dealer in Kabale said the station cost sh550m to put up, with Kobil meeting 50% of the cost.
“I would like to thank Kobil for allowing me live up to my dream of setting up a modern station, and for allowing me work with them,†Muhoozi said.
In a speech read for him by John Opiro, Kobil chief engineer, Edwin Kinyua, general marketing, said that Kobil now commands a country market share of 10%.
“Kobil is committed to the development of the country and this is no doubt illustrated by opening of this modern station,†he said.
“I commend Kobil and Mr. Muhoozi for having put up such an investment in my own home area Kabale,†Mutebile said.
