FORMER UNRF II rebels under the leadership of Maj. Gen. Ali Bamuze (right) have set up a cooperative society.
Bamuze, who was recently promoted to the rank of Maj. Gen. by the Commander-in-chief of Uganda People’s Defence Forces, Lt. Gen. Yoweri Museveni, initiated the formation of Bidibidi Cooperative Society recently.
Pascal Romano Piwang, the chairman implementation and liaison Committee, UNRF II and Government of Uganda Agreement, on Friday said a recent feasibility study recommended the venture. He said the study was conducted by a team from Norwegian Embassy and Uganda Cooperative Alliance. Ends
