MASJID Tours and Travel Company would start handling all official pilgrimages to Mecca.
Edirisa Kasenene, the General Secretary of Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC), said that Masjid Tours Company was chosen to handle pilgrimage in order to monitor and know the number of pilgrimage.
“We wanted to get a proper method of monitoring and handling of all Muslims’ Pilgrimage to Mecca. That is why we decided to choose one tour company to handle the issue,†he said.
