KAMPALA – Vehicles impounded in Tuesday’s swoop and not reclaimed by the end of this week will be handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department, the Police have warned. City Police chief Benson Oyo-Nyeko said 143 of the 237 impounded vehicles had been cleared.

UYD backs
KAMPALA – The Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) yesterday voiced their support for religious leaders to make political statements, following this week’s advocacy by Justice Forum chief Kibirige Mayanja. UYD vice-president, Kenneth Kakande said, “Religious leaders played a cardinal role in the liberation of this country.”
