Stolen Prado recovered
MBARARA — The Police have recovered a white Prado number 395 UEE that was stolen in 1998 from Kampala, the district Police commander, Wilson Kwanya, has said. He told journalists that the vehicle has a forged Rwanda number plate RR 97.97.C. It was recovered on Friday after a tip off from pump attendants who were refuelling it at Shell Ankole.

Cops probe teachers
KASESE — The Police are investigating two teachers over charges of forgery and impersonation following a recommendation by the Inspector General of Government. “The files are being worked on. It has been a holiday. So we could not get some of the information from the schools,” Kasese Police chief Kirenzi said on Friday. The IGG’s office in January recommended the investigation.
