SIR— In your paper of June 16 one Mr Osman Ndugga of Bugiri wrote that he would vote Ruud Van Nistelrooy the best striker in the British Premier League.
SIR— In your paper of June 16 one Mr Osman Ndugga of Bugiri wrote that he would vote Ruud Van Nistelrooy the best striker in the British Premier League. In my view, there are many different aspects to one’s being voted the best in any activity. So, I would say that Ndugga is free to vote Van Nistelrooy his best striker, just as the other group voted Thiery Henry the best. It is interesting that no fellow player raised a finger about the award to Henry, which means they were satisfied with the choice.
