One person died on Tuesday in a 50-foot well due to suffocation after efforts to retrieve him failed.
Issa Mudhasi fell in a well at Iganga Star College Busagwa, Buwaaya sub-county.
Witnesses told the Police that the deceased entered the well with intentions to clean it but were shocked to learn that he had not come out after along time.
Mudhasi was pulled out of the well at night in a joint effort by the school authorities and the Police in the area.
