FORT-PORTAL — Anti-riot Police on Monday quelled a riot by workers at the TAMTECO Tea Company in Kijura estates. The workers were protesting what they called low pay.

KAMPALA — The Bakiga in diaspora have resolved to promote their social and economic welfare worlwide. Health minister Brig. Jim Muwhezi said this was agreed at a recent Bakiga meeting in Toronto, Canada.
