PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has donated three beef heifers to Toro kingdom.
The animals, handed over to Queen mother Best Kemigisa on Sunday, are for breeding purposes.
They were delivered by Museveni’s Kisozi farm official Lincoln Mujuni.
Present at the function at the Karuziika Palace in Fort portal were the kingdom’s minister for protocol, Mesherk Kawamara and that for the elderly and disability, Abooki Nyakato.
Mujuni said more animals would be delivered if the initial ones did well under the weather.
The Queen mother thanked Museveni for the innovation which she said would improve livestock breeding in the kingdom.
