THE management of Nakivubo stadium on Wednesday failed to appear before the probe committee. No reason was given for their absence.
The probe committee waited in vain for the board and management of the stadium, who were set to appear before them at 6.00pm, in order to be interviewed about the arena and how it can influence football in the country.
“No one called back to give a reason why they never turned up,” said a source from the probe.
However, the committee headed by former defence minister Stephen Kavuma, continued with their interviews with Iganga TC officials.
They were also due to meet Villa, Heroes and Game Boys officials.
Among the groups they are due to meet today evening is the executive of Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA).
