EMBATTLED Top TV heaped the blame on FUFA, NFLC and club officials for the mess in Ugandan football while facing the Stephen Kavuma Probe Committee.
Top TV, who recently dragged FUFA to court over their controversial demotion from the Super league, also presented a tape as evidence of influence regarding their aborted Express match. Top TV abandoned the game when Express were leading 2-0 and NFLC consequently awarded maximum points to the Red Eagles.
A committee source however intimated to The New Vision that they have so far failed to get substantial evidence from all the interviewees. Instead, every one who faces the Lugogo team just defends himself against any allegations raised.
“The situation is tough. There is no way we can get a breakthrough when people are not giving evidence.†said a member of the probe.
