The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has hailed his great grandfather Ssekabaka Muteesa I and Christopher Kisosonkole for accepting Christianity in the Kingdom.
Muteesa I was the first Kabaka of Buganda to contact missionaries while Kisosonkole led the first revision of the Luganda Bible in the 1960s.
Mutebi said this at the launch of the new inter-confessional Luganda Bible in Kampala recently.
