SIR— I wish to appeal to the mayor and the planning committee of KCC to borrow a leaf from our sister cities and towns in E. Africa.

Many of them have trees along all the roads leading out of town. This has made them look so beautiful compared to our city. Look at Nakuru, Eldoret, Nairobi, Arusha, Moshi, Dar plus others.
