MBARARA Motor Club (MMC) will next season stage a cross border rally that will start in Mbarara and end in Kigali, Rwanda.
Mbarara with two events on the 2004 National Rally Championship (NRC) calendar approved by FMU last week will hold its cross border event June 11-13.
The upcountry club that organises the popular Kobil rally in February has replaced the Moonlight rally, formerly organised by Fraternity Motor Club with Mbarara-Kigali rally.
2004 NRC calendar:
Jan 30-Feb1: Caltex Havoline
Feb 20-22: Kobil rally
March 12-14: MOSAC Garden City rally
April 16-18: UMC rally
May 14-16: UMOSPOC Alpha rally
June 11-13 Mbarara-Kigali rally
Sept 2-5: TOTAL Pearl of Africa rally
October 15-17: Castrol-Mogas Independence rally
