WARRING factions in the Nakawa food market have settled their differences. A faction led by Paddy Ssentamu, Rugumayo Baguma and Hawa Birungi on Thursday entered a final consent judgement when they agreed that Nakawa Market Vendors Association Limited should take over its management.

The two factions came to terms before Justice Stella Arach-Amoko, the head of the Commercial Court. It was the second consent judgement.

Precious Ngabirano, who represented the Ssentamu’s told the court that they had also decided to withdraw an application in which they had sought to set aside the earlier one.
