Johannesburg - With seven games before the end of the season, SuperSport United’s Denis Onyango is a front runner for the 2008/09 Goalkeeper of the Season award in South Africa. Also in contention for the May 24 award is Bafana Bafana fringe goalkeepers Moneeb Josephs of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns’ Calvin Marlin.
He has kept the right number of clean sheets by any PSL goalkeeper, and has missed only four games for his club due to injury and a suspension.
