Mountain Dew set for Kitintale
- Top skaters are set for the Mountain Dew Skateboarding championship slated for May 3 at Kitintale Skating Park. Up to 40 skaters are expected for the event that is expected to attract many youth to the little-known but alive-with-action skating park. Big names for the one-day competition include Douglas Mwesigwa, Isaac Kawooya, Gilbert Mwebe and Nice Boyie in the seniors. Cedric Kalyesubula and Bashir Ngobi feature for juniors.

Air Uganda flies foursome team
- Air Uganda has boosted Andrew Taekwondo Academy with four air tickets to Nairobi for the Korea Ambassador Cup starting May 2. The tickets worth sh2.4m were handed over to the coach Andrew Mugisha by Air Uganda’s marketing manager Desire Barugahare at their head office in Kololo yesterday. A team of four leaves tomorrow. Clays Achima and Clays Belam in the thin weight and Roland Pajo in bantam are are set to represent the academy at the event.
