Afri-diamonds up against child sacrifice, Corruption

THIS is a 1999 witty narrative play that has remained outstanding years later. A fairly old Sseki (Khamad Mwanja) is fighting to sort his marriage out. Catherine, his wife (Florence Yiga), is fairly young and yearning for more action. <br>

THIS is a 1999 witty narrative play that has remained outstanding years later. A fairly old Sseki (Khamad Mwanja) is fighting to sort his marriage out. Catherine, his wife (Florence Yiga), is fairly young and yearning for more action.

She gets it with MP Senkenzi (Abby Mukiibi). When their blanket cover is blown, everyone is in disarray. The younger couples in this neighbourhood take the place of role models.

The play tackles a broad scope; child sacrifice, corruption in politics and love relationships. If you fall for any one of these themes, it is worth your time.

If you do not, you will fall for the tact of story-telling. It is a moral tale, unlike the recent bluff we have been getting. It has humour although the groups remain strong on improvisation.
