Guard robs station boss at gunpoint

A guard at Dero Petrol Station in Nsangi robbed the station manager, Abdu Fatah, of sh2.3m and two phones at gunpoint on Monday.

A guard at Dero Petrol Station in Nsangi robbed the station manager, Abdu Fatah, of sh2.3m and two phones at gunpoint on Monday.

The guard, Robert Tulere, locked Fatah inside the office at 3:30pm and disappeared.

“He asked me to choose between life and the money,” Fatah narrated.

The Police in Nsangi, Wakiso district, is hunting for the suspect, who sometimes calls himself Thomas Kapero.

Tulere who hails from Butebo sub-county in Pallisa district, was employed by Nile Guard, a private security firm.
