ARTISTES Mega Dee and Bebe Cool will perform at the the U S -Busoga Convention 2009.
The Basoga Twegaite Convention in Minnesota will host friends of Busoga from North America and Uganda.
The Committee Chairman, Tony Isubikalu said the singers will be part of the entertainment to spice up the weekend
Isubikalu said there will be lots of fun and food at the function to take place at the Marriot Hotel and later a Boat Ride on the Mississippi River.
The event will feature artists from Uganda, local African Bands in the US and music by the finest DJs in the world.
The three- day event beginning on Thursday May 21st to 25th will focus on education, health care and poverty eradication through micro finance projects in Busoga region.
According to the Convention Chairman, Kizito Kalema, all proceeds will go towards the rehabilitation of Jinja Hospital cancer ward and the Inebantu Library in Bugembe Jinja.
