Red Cross renovates Gulu health centres

OVER 14, 000 people of Lugorre and Labwor-Omor in Aswa County, Gulu district will benefit from the two health centers renovated by the Red-Cross.

OVER 14, 000 people of Lugorre and Labwor-Omor in Aswa County, Gulu district will benefit from the two health centers renovated by the Red-Cross.

The units were handed over to the district on Tuesday by the head of the Redcross in Gulu, Ynske Vandormael.

Jovana Ajok, a nurse at Lugorre health centre said the number of patients had increased since the refurbishment.
Vandormael said they built a maternity block, an incinerator, motorised the boreholes and provided essential drugs and equipment in addition to training staff.

District chairman Norbert Mao, who received the equipment, hailed the agency for the support.
