MBARARA-The cashier of Mbarara Community Hospital, Gladys Nakito, has been given two weeks to refund Sh3.96m she allegedly stole from the hospital. The hospital administrator, Yvonne Natukunda, told The New Vision that Nakito has worked at the hospital since 2004.

Hospital lacks AIDS machine
KABAROLE-The machine that measures CD4 count in people living with HIV/AIDS at Buhinga Hospital has broken down. The superintendent, Dr. Charles Olaro, said the screening of patients has suffered a setback. The machine analyses the progression of HIV in a body to determine whether a person needs to start treatment.
