COACH Sam Ssimbwa will be introduced to KCC club’s players and fans this afternoon.

KCC has finalised a three-year deal with Ssimbwa that should see another of their former players guide the team until 2013.

Ssimbwa is replacing George Nsimbe, who the club relived of his duties last month.

Ssimbwa, who joined Simba from Express in 2007, is returning to Lugogo after over a decade following a brief stint he had at the club in 1997 following disagreement with Ssimba FC officials.

The 40 year-old coach has secretly been recruiting players including a host of them from Bombo and will be unveiled alongside the new recruits.

Nsimbe meanwhile leaves on August 29 for a three-week coaching course in Germany courtesy of soccer governing body FUFA.

FUFA offered to facilitate Nsimbe for training after he won the Uganda Super League amidst criticism from his employers because was not a professional.

KCC acting chairman Godfrey Kisekka confirmed Ssimbwa’s return yesterday.
