Rubaga leaders must act
THE nasty accident in Kasubi market that killed three people was an eye opener. Although the taxi driver was blamed, there are other factors. The trading centre has a busy market with pedestrians and motorists scrambling for space with the vendors.

One wonders whether this area, in Rubaga Division, has any local leaders. When will they act?

Roughing Kyeyune shameful
I was shocked when residents of Busabala beat up Wakiso LC5 chairman Ian Kyeyune, over the poor road, which is the Government’s responsibility. The people should have contacted the Ministry of Works, instead of humiliating their local leader.
Goretti Namuwaya,
Kampala

Stop mob justice

IN the last two weeks, three landlords have been killed by tenants after trying to evict them from land. Land owners in Mityana, Kayunga and Mukono were killed by the mob on suspicion that they intended to chase tenants away from the land.

This is not good for the landlords and their tenants. Tenants who commit such crimes, should know that there are rules and regulations that govern land transactions.

Killing a landlord only makes the situation worse. One ends up being charged for murder and ultimately chased away from the land. Tenants must abide by the laws to solve these problems.
