Northern region NOREDO regained the inter-regional darts crown after overcoming Eastern in Gulu Sunday. It is the 10th time for NOREDO (Northern Region Darts Organisation) to achieve the feat.

K’la to host regional meet

After humbling South Sudan 9-4 runs to lift the Africa baseball championship title at Nakirebe, Mpigi, last week, Uganda stands chances to hit the world scene. The Uganda Little League ULL is likely to host the Middle East and Africa region Little League International. ULL director Richard Stanley said chances favour Uganda to host the meet if they complete the complex at Nakirebe.

Uganda to field 39 teams
- E. Africa Schools games
Uganda will field 39 teams in the East Africa schools games due from August 30 in Fort Portal. Games coordinator, Chris Mugisha said they are short of sh170m from sh320m budgeted for the week-long games. Over 1300 athletes will take part in basketball, volleyball, netball, football and hockey.
