Activists want new poll laws
KAMPALA-Human rights activists have called for new electoral laws ahead of the 2011 general elections. The Uganda Human Rights Commission secretary, Gordon Mwesigye, and the executive director of the Foundation for Human Rights Initiative, Livingstone Ssewanyana, on Friday at a media workshop at Imperial Royale, said the new laws would ensure free and fair elections.
