Graduates from the United Media Consultants and Trainers have been advised to dress decently to reflect what they learnt in class. Ethics and integrity minister Nsaba Buturo made the call during the institutes’ 7th graduation ceremony held on Friday at the Grand Imperial Hotel. Buturo, who was the chief guest, said a country that has no morals was in a straight path to destruction. He told the graduates to go for further studies to enable them competefor jobs. He told the new journalists to respect themselves and to be mindful of the way they report about their country. “Do not be blind to developmental issues yet owl-eyed to issues that assassinate your nation’s reputation,” Buturo said. He said there was no country in the world where the press is allowed to report lies, adding that press freedom had to be accompanied with responsibility.
