Baganda youth over-reacted

EDITOR—I would like to thank the Police and other security agencies for containing the riots that rocked Kampala and some of its suburbs last week. I think the Baganda youth and other Buganda loyalists over-reacted.
EDITOR—I would like to thank the Police and other security agencies for containing the riots that rocked Kampala and some of its suburbs last week. I think the Baganda youth and other Buganda loyalists over-reacted.
If these youths responded to development programmes with the same passion, Uganda would be far better off. I also wonder why it took the Katikkiro so long to calm his people since he knew only a voice from Mengo would be listened to.
What do these youth feel about the dead and wounded people and property that was destroyed? This kind of hooliganism should stop.
