MAYUGE-Students of St. John Secondary School in Buwaaya sub-county completed a two-week chakamchaka cadre course on Thursday. The course attracted over 250 students and teachers who received certificates handed over by the LC5 chief, Baker Ikoba Tigawalana. He appealed to the cadres to be patriotic. The participants displayed skills attained from the course including assembling a gun.

Women urged to improve skills
IGANGA-Women and youth in the informal sector have been urged to engage in entrepreneurial skills in order to improve their incomes.
The executive director of Platform for Labour Action, Lillian Mugerwa, gave the advice while donating sh4m to Munna Community-Based Association in Nambale sub-county on Saturday. She also donated sewing machines and bicycles. The beneficiaries were warned against selling the items.
