Journalists from the western region were at Hot Sport Restaurant in Mbarara on Saturday for a meal organised by MTN. The function started as a ceremonial dinner and ended up in a dancing frenzy.

Journalists from the western region were at Hot Sport Restaurant in Mbarara on Saturday for a meal organised by MTN. The function started as a ceremonial dinner and ended up in a dancing frenzy.
At the end, journalists requested the organisers to extend the function to other districts of western Uganda, complaining that every year it is celebrated in Mbarara.
Some journalists were not happy with the way MTN treats up-country journalists, claiming that while in Kampala, western journalists are not given seats at MTN organised functions.
MTN’s public relations officer, Aggrey Kagonyera, assured journalists and other Ugandans of MTN’s improved services in future.
