MOUNTAIN Dew Falcons captain Steven Omony believes today’s Game 2 in the MTN-FUBA playoff semi-final against Kyambogo Warriors is a “must-win” for his team.

Falcons lost Game 1 of the best-of-five series 89-74 on Saturday, but Omony insists his team have to do whatever is possible to level the series today.

Another defeat would leave them on the verge of elimination.

“We definitely have to win this game,” the star said. “If we want to boost our way forward, we have to do everything possible to get this win.”

Omony explained that Falcons would employ a other approaches because they did not play as expected in game 1.

Warriors were convincing and Falcons will have to up their game to have any chance of winning today, not to mention the series. It doesn’t help that the loss was Falcons third to the Warriors this season.

However, in the last two seasons, Falcons have emerged victorious over Warriors in the playoffs and all it might take to repeat the cycle is one win.
