MBALE-Local governments have been urged to build the capacity of their staff in data collection and management for effective planning. Male Mukasa, the executive director of the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, said the success of government policies depends on the use of up-to-date and reliable information for planning and evaluation. Mukasa issued the advice at a workshop held at the Islamic University in Uganda last Friday.

UPCs Ochieno tips on politics
