The resident district commissioner, Bamusedde Bwambale, has warned people to stop sectarian politics based on religion. Addressing residents and leaders at the Masaka municipality chambers on Monday, Bwambale said he had received complaints from people expressing concern over the high number of Muslim leaders dominating politics of the region.


Road accidents have declined
MASAKA
Road accidents have declined significantly between October and November, according to the traffic Police department report. The report indicated that 56 road accidents were registered in November compared to 68 in October. The officer in charge of traffic, Fred Muhumuza, said four people died in November, while 10 died in October.
